Updated: Dec 9, 2020

Our favourite new indie and alternative tracks on repeat this week (2/12), featuring Liam Gallagher, The Cribs, Bleachers, Bruce Springsteen, Girl in Red, Shame and Rina Sawayama.

There's nothing quite like the buzz of falling in love with a new song and obsessively listening on repeat! Here at Blinded by the Floodlights we listen to a lot of new music and are always on the hunt for the best new music. In our new weekly feature, we recommend our favourite new songs that have just been released by both established and new artists.

You can listen below on YouTube and on our weekly updated Spotify playlist.

Liam Gallagher - All You're Dreaming Of

On Friday (27th November), Liam Gallagher dropped his festive-inspired new song 'All You're Dreaming of' and it might be the best song he's released yet. Get all the info on the new track here.

The Cribs - Running Into You

We've been loving The Cribs new album Night Network since it's release a couple of weeks ago! The highlight of their indie-rock return was 'Running Into You', a song which proved why the Wakefield boys are still at the top of their game.

Bleachers ft. Bruce Springsteen - Chinatown

On 17th November, New Jerseyans Jack Antonoff and Bruce Springsteen united for the nostalgic 'Chinatown'. The 80s lo-fi vibes had us vibing with it since it's release. You can read why we called it our favourite song in a long time here.

girl in red - two queens in a king sized bed

Marie Ulven Ringheim (better known as girl in red) is a 21-year-old Norweigan indie-pop singer whose singles have already had hundreds of millions of streams before an album has been released. The bedroom pop singer has unveiled dreamy Christmas ballad 'two queens in a king sized bed' and it's one we can't get enough of.

Shame - Water in the Well

London post-punk band Shame released new single 'Water in the Well' on 18th November. It's the second single from their upcoming second album Drunk Tank Pink (15th January), one we are definitely excited about hearing!

Rina Sawayama - Lucid

And finally...for something a bit different, we've gone for 'LUCID' by Japanese-British singer Rina Sawayama (25th November). It's a total dance banger!

Our Blinded by the Floodlights indie recommendations playlist is updated every week with the latest releases and songs we have on repeat.
